It's hard to forget people, but I suggest one thing.
Write a "letter" to them. Write ALL your feelings onto that paper. Fold it, seal it, and destroy it
Burn it, rip it, shred it. After it is gone, put your thoughts of said person in a box and store it away. They're no longer in your life, and it's 100% okay! You will feel much better afterwards
