They fight more than usual compared to others like Abyss and Emerald or Shadow and Echo, but if you didn't notice, Dagger is still wearing a bracelet Tala made for him, and Tala has a scarf Dagger gave to her. And on top of that, Tala doesn't have her claws out and Dagger's not pointing his weapon at her, so they have no intention of hurting each other or getting rid of their gifts.
