i could go on for hours abt this guy's existence and the story surrounding him but tldr a child ""god"" wrote his life and made it miserable, giving him tragedy upon tragedy, up until him and his buddies decided to try and kíll the other ""gods"". it worked but the gods then went and exploded his universe and so, void knight ended up stuck in the yawning abyss left behind and evenyually got rescued by one of the only other survivors/his best friend. now hes got cool mist powers :)

oh yeah hes like one of my oldest ocs. u can see he looks a lot like #kaivale possibly,,,,, hes like. the au version of him. except void knghts actually the original and the new kai came afterwards n has no relation otherwise aside from being grumpy red orb and sharing a name
