Echo had done what she'd always promised she'd do. She sacrificed herself for the love of her life, Shadow, just like he did for her a long time ago. She took the hit of a Cyberizing blast for him and started to fade into red pixels. Shadow quickly destroyed the enemy and ran back over to her, tears filling his eyes. Hugging her, he asked her why, And her response to him was...

"Why? It's because I love you too much....Sayonara...Shadow the Hedgehog....."
