(slight vent warning)
how to have good art?
I've recently found myself jealous of others, due to others being the "popular" ones, their contests getting a million entries etc.
I've also started to feel insecure about my art. Could you possibly leave tips in the comments? Thanks.
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

I'll check some of your playbacks to see if I can find anything

Hm okay
So my advice is to think of what your art looks like now and how you want it to look like (cartoon, anime, semi-realistic, etc.) then try to figure out how to get there.
When I started drawing people, I started out with disproportionate chibis, and now I almost have my anime style looking how I want it to. It took about five years. You just have to learn and figure things out and be patient, because getting a drawing how you want it takes time.

Also I'd recommend not comparing your art to other people's too much. Only compare it if you're trying to make it look like certain parts of the style, but don't try to copy it entirely.
Oh and shade and highlight and use the flip tool.
