Dragon Sketch (Wings) by The_Adjudicator
Just sharing some concept sketches for a clay sculpture project I plan on doing some time soon.
Number 1 is~ a basic dragon wing.
Number 2 is~ a wyvern wing arm, without any joints to support the webbing.
Number 3 is~ a broad webbed wing wherein the webbing stretches along the length of the body and part way along the length of the tail.
Number 4 is~ a wing arm with sharp hook talons and incredible dexterity, capable of flight, climbing, and swimming.

It's taken a lot of reimaging to get to this point. I look back at how I drew wings early on, and realized what didn't work. What helped me was realizing that wings are just contorted hands with webbing between the long spindly fingers.
