You were doing great for your 1st attempt. I hope you paint again. Very nice attempt here. You just needed to make more grass and less water - Watch your horizon line! [This way it looks like the water is ready to spill over] Had you put white brush strokes coming down off the tops of the blue and some places in the middle of the blue, it would become ocean waves. Do more painting! Do not give up!
