Just sharing some concept sketches for a clay sculpture project I plan on doing some time soon.

Number I is:~ raptorian by design. It is bipedal and nimble.
Number 2 is~ Semi-aquatic and quadripedal.
Number 3 is~ winged legs. I'll share my personal comments at the bottom for this one.
Number 4 is~ zygodactyl in it's design. Inspired by Seregios from Monster Hunter.
Number 5 is~ just more practice.

Now, about number three. In my mind, I thought of the snake-wyvern down in a previous post, and while rendering it in my head, I revised thst it's body would be too long, and somewhat awkward in flight with only one pair of wings, and tried to imagine how it would support it's lengthy backside as well. So I wondered, what if the rear limbs were also wings. But in hind sight, I'm a bit apprehensive at the thought of it gracing the world below with a big ol' spready everytime it soars. If it looks alright in practice, good. If not, I'm sorry for the mental image.
