The sunrise is actually behind and to the left. The bright sun glare on the building is a reflection off the windows from another building.

nice! you must've worked quickly before the light changed, sunsets always happen way faster than i expect them to. :)

@sea, yup, about 20 mins. Because the sun was behind, it didn't affect the overall lighting on the building too much. The hotspot wasn't there when I started the painting, it came up at the end tho! Thanks, Serio!
