Aleksander is a moderately introverted Ravkan bookworm who never strays far from the library unless it's for Nikolai. He had a tough childhood, having been rejected by his otkazats'ya mother for being a Grisha like his wayward (and undetermined) father. He grew up in the Little Palace, bullied by other grisha (cont ↓)

... because he chose to hone his skills as a Tailor, rather than focusing on becoming a useful Healer or powerful Heartrender
He falls for Nikolai but doesn't realise that his feeling are returned until, when Aleksander tries to free Nikolai of the monster inside him, he kisses him <3
