I think the left wheel looks the most accurate for digital painting. The opposite colours should be literally opposite sides of the wheel, so you have red opposite cyan which you've got right for digital colour. The wheel you've drawn on the right looks closer to the traditional RYB colour wheel for traditional art, with red and green being opposite colours. Except the opposite of purple would be yellow in that wheel.
@Froglorddd: Tbh I've forgotten most of what I learned about colour theory. It's scary how easy it is to unlearn things but seeing this post brought some memories back
