before i started using my sonar pen again i bought a stylus and used that and i preferred it to both other options
mine has a mesh tip (better than a rubber one) and it had a stylus tip like the sonarpen
there are some affordable ones on Amazon if u wanted to look into it and i think some colors user diy'd their own from yt tutorials

@sugarskulllz
dw abt rambling lol ur good /gen, i ramble a lot too on posts tbh
anyway, i'll look into that eventually!! for the time being i'll prolly either just get used to drawing w/ my finger or try using my sonar pen again,,,, honestly the form factor of the pen is fine, its just the weird lil disc on the end i have issues with (i stg it makes my lines way less precise???) n the way the screen feels (maybe i need a screen protector...?), along with how big the switch is making it hard for me to draw with without using a drawing table i have :sob: and i tend to draw laying or sitting in bed a lot
oop see now im rambling lol /lh, now i realize maybe my issue isnt entirely the pen,,,,, eh i'll still look into getting a different one tho, thank u :]

Yes!! that was my exact issue with it- the stylus i got recently came with a smaller version of the disc thingy and i found that helped exponentiallly.
Also yes that little disc picks up tons of dust which collects and scratches ur screen so badly and just makes drawing feel so yucky (people have gotten holes in their screens from it) i got an anti-scratch tempered glass screen protector recently and it solved all of my issues (thank god for birthday gifts)

also i've found laying on my stomach when drawing or sitting with my knees up and the switch resting on them makes it feel a lot less chunky and awkward to draw with :]
