@razrdraws here, I'd recommend using a circle instead of a square as it can regularly limit the proportions of the head/skull. A circle, on the other hand, goes with the natural boundries of the skull, yiu just have to draw in the jaw/jawline. Remember to keep proportions correct to the subject and the angle at which they are being viewed!
