These 2 go way back during Mega Man Volnutt's conquest in his mission as he was the one created Data so he could store his valuable information just in any case something where to happen to him which has been fulfilled. To this day Volnutt has slowly regained his memories with Data's help informing what his past life duty was all about. Now as of today they're just like a happy family with the company of friends they have with joy. :)
