Against Winston Payne, Miles defended Phoenix Wright on the charge of First Degree Murder.
The Victim, Frederick Sippwater, was drowned. Wright and Mr. Sippwater were known to dislike eachother. One witness, David Sandder, insisted Wright came up behind Sippwater, and drove his head into the water.
Edgeworth found that the witness had been friends with Fred, but they began fighting over a woman. The witness confessed to his crime, and is now in custody.
