I see a pattern that happens often here with dedicated artists who are new to digital painting. It takes a while to get the hang of the tools, and then they start to improve rapidly. This is, in my view, your best portrait yet in regards to proportions, etc. And there are challenges to self-portraits in any case, but this is very well done.
This is a good follow up to your artist of the week interview!
