The shading is good as well.

That's fine.
I was asking because I usually change my shadow color depending on the base color I'm shading.
But what you did looks fine. I'm just mentioning what I do. So, you can keep it in mind, if you ever what to try it.

If that's the case... Then try using three colors for the shadows and highlights each, moving farther in a direction on the color wheel for each color. (make it inverted, like go right for highlights and left for shadows)
Let me see if I can explain better.
Use three colors for high lights, each time makeing the color lighter in hue and moving around the color wheel.
Do the inverse with the shadows. Go the opposite direction on the wheel and lower the hue with each color.
I hope this helps.

i mostly used it for coloring in the hair
