Emerald: You see, I'm basically I'm from 313 years in the past, and back then hybrids -much like myself- weren't allowed. They were seen as overpowered and dangerous. So whenever one was found, they were done for. My parents, my REAL parents, did everything they could, but the only thing left to do was to lock me in the Master Emerald until the time was right.
