She's a totally normal teenager, not a kraken! Anyone hyped for the new Dreamworks movie that includes this girl? At first, I got Smallfoot vibes when I watched the trailer the other day, especially with the kraken designs. I'm pretty optimistic about the movie anyways, I just wished the trailer didn't basically spoil the entire thing though... Plus, this is my first time drawing Ruby so I apologize if anything looks bad :')
