The birds do kinda look like penguins, or Squawkabillys. (a pokemon from Scar&Vio) Maybe penguins just learned to fly.

You just need to draw them more frequently!

I normally use no reference myself.
Can you look up images on a phone or computer? It's was I do if I need reference.

Honestly, I want to take my mom's phone and yeet it somewhere. She is on it all the time. I don't think it's healthy.

Most of my family isn't glued to their phones, just Mom...
I'm pretty similar in that I only really use my Switch in the evenings at the moment, and even if I'm on it, I'm drawing. Which is different, I think.
