"Deep... hurting. Deep hurting."
"Go ahead and sing panty waist. Soon you will be knee deep in sand and then it will be Joel Robinson, RIP."
"Rest In Pants?"

Oh dear lord I am probably quoting a TV show that aired at double your age ago. Probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

I count myself as really old now, and I'm also into retro stuff, but I don't really remember when I saw the specific episode I'm mentioning. It was part of a host skit on Mystery Science Theater 3000 where, while watching a Hercules movie, the host characters mention how they hate it when the movies depicting ancient Greece and Rome would have the men wear shorter skirts than the women, to the point that their butts would be directly touching any seat cushion they sat on. Then the robots sing ~

~ a song in honor of pants. But then the evil mad scientists try to lower the host's happy spirit by reminding them that the movie has a long, pointless, boring scene coming up by chanting "Sssaaaaannnddd Ssstooorrrmmm" and "Deep Hurting" How do I remember this so clearly when I can't even remember what I had for breakfast yesterday?

It was a great show. It was divided between the host segments where the cast would put on personality skits usually related to whatever movie they were watching, and movie segments where you'd watch an old, cheesy movie with three of the cast during which they would make jokes or call attention to some plot hole or question why something was in the movie at all. The movies would vary from old Hercules films to Gamera to cheesy horror films and occasionally short PSAs.
