#thedimlight mushroom was staring at the moons. this was his favorite spot in all the rainforest, it was a tiny peek with a pond on the top. you could see all of the forest here. he was thinking of earlyer that night, a group of nightwings had been following him around and calling out insults saying things like, "look, a useless lump of leaves" or "what a idiot, imagine, a nightwing who is scared of the dark!" that the last one was there favorite. they loved calling out his worst fear,

a nightwing isn't ment to be scared of the dark, they were NIGHTWINGS after all. he new they only insulted him because his mom was away and he never spoke up or telled his mom because he didn't want to bother her, his mom was the QUEEN after all. he's sister hated how he didn't even try to avoid or stop the insults. of corse she stepped in the way and stopped them and made mushroom stay inside with eclipse the rest of the day. tears started running down his face but he wiped them of, he Wouldn't let them make him sad, he thought angrily. I half to be strong. he thought of his sister, the silent tears that run down her face when she thought no one was awake, I half to be strong for her.
