i went for 1st grade, and then 3rd and 4th!
it wasnt fantastic, but i really miss talking to ppl daily lol! xD

@ArtisanLydi i have a couple really good church friends that i see at least twice a week, I went to public school till 3rd grade and then my school shut down and I had to go to middle school 2 years early! but I enjoy homeschooling alot. :D

im glad you have church friends!! i go to church but sadly my church is mostly older ppl lol xD

@ArtisanLydi my church is filled with younger and older people and i think it gets more people each week!

I read some of the above comments about school, and the funny thing is I was homeschooled all my life 'til last August. I'm in public school now

Well, as with anything, there's good things and bad things about being in public school. The good things, imo are:
I now have friends
I get to talk to people
There's always something funny that happens in at least one class
My teachers (exclude one) are all really nice
I get to be library aide!
The school is supportive of students and encourages kindness

Now here's the bad things...
I have to get up at 6:30 because I live on the outskirts of town
I am not a morning person
5 days a week is too much ._.
weekends are too short TwT
homework (ugh)
I have a grumpy science teacher
there's only 4 minutes in between classes
Since I'm new, most kids don't talk to much except for the people I've gotten to know
PE is tedious o_o

Now for homeschool..
Good things are..
I GOT TO SLEEP IN!!
My mom was my teacher
I didn't have to schlep all over a school in order to get from here to there
(usually) No loud interruptions

I'll continue this hang on : )

But the main not so great things about homeschool imo is that..

I didn't really know anybody
I had never experienced what is was like to be in a public school

Those are the main pros and cons for me, for public and homeschooling. Sorry I kinda went on! :o
