For some reason this reminds me of Gericault's The Raft of the Medusa, except sort of opposite somehow in its theme. Dunno. Either way, I really like it and I've been staring at it for quite awhile now.
I'm trying to find symbolic elements here regarding the objects in the hope of constructing a workable link to Blade Runner. I've got a decent theory pinned down, but then I look at the Chrustmas tree and it completely throws me... haha. Great piece all the same.

Depressing, but beautiful. The tree, chair and clock really give a sense of place and narrative.

I like this depressed ambiance. There's a feeling of having lost all you have had... It's quite realistic :)
