i want to be a professional cartoon drawer and im not that good at it, but you are!

can you give me some tips on how to draw?
im only 12 so im not too good at it....

Srry I left my age anomalously but honestly ive seen art on TikTok where 12 year olds draw anime/cartoon art so pro ! ( better than my art in my opinion ! ) So you can def do it !! It does take time and practice ofc, I would watch art tutorials online and there are some things you are going to pick up from in different art styles/techniques you like best ! If art is what you are rlly passionate abt, go for it ! I believe anyone can b an artist if they put their mind into it !

And draw what makes you happy ofc ! I would say watching tutorials and watching speedpaints rlly help ! ( Even watching speedpaints on this program ! ) Practice the anatomy and study the images in different forms ( will help w/ muscle memory w/ paintings and that is w/ anything ! ) I didnt mentioned this but looking at images/references helps a lot w/ drawing ! I needed a reference w/ my Celeste painting bc i didnt remember the design in my head ! Same w/ the switch painting which the ref was in

my hand xD I rely a lot on references. Try to set a picture of what you want your art to look like and want to lay out inside your head before painting. It would help create ideas and what theme your going for. I hope these tips were helpful ! These are the things I hav gathered over some time ! :) @el_11
