Workplace drama by Sylvachu

A co-worker was fired for her behaviour a few days ago, the person she was training is struggling on the register and is basically showing up when she feels like it. To make matters worse, another co-worker almost quit due to a different co-worker making her feel guilty for being on the phone during work due to family issues, but thankfully she didn't. The co-worker responsible is gonna be doing openings from now on. I just want the drama to end.

I'm sorry that happened! I know that I don't have a job, and I'm too young for an actual job other than baby-sitting or somethin, and also don't understand work drama just yet, but I am so sorry and wish you a good 2023.

Yeah, I've recently been dealing with an elevated level of work drama myself. I'm worried that some of it is just paranoia, but even more worried if it isn't. Hang in there and stay busy or be a mentor when you can. Workplace drama can change week to week.

@Peripheral_Pillar I actually scolded the co-worker who was responsible and I even said I was disappointed in her, acting like I was her mother. The manager and I even told her to be nice when she called the one who almost quit a baby. I'm 21 and the one responsible is in her 50s which means that I'm being more responsible than someone who is in the age range of being a grandma
