I have a better idea, actually. Why don't you draw a request that's worthy of one-hundred likes, and if it's falls short... Then you can start asking for likes. I'll even be the first to like it!

Yeah, maybe you'll be able to keep your promise if you only spend 5 minutes per request. In which case, the requester could just draw that themselves. Or, maybe you can keep your promise if you only draw 2 requests the entire year. Good luck with either of those options, lol.

You should also tell people what they're getting themselves into before you start asking for likes. Because some people might be expecting a detailed request of over hour to do. It's bad courtesy to ask people for something and not tell them exactly what they're getting in return.

But...I probably shouldn't be so hard on you. You're probably still just a kid, after all.

But man, am I getting sick of this dumb trend. First, people ask for twenty-five likes. Now they ask for an outrageous one-hundred... Soon they'll ask for five-hundred. The greed never ends.

It's just, I have a lot of friends who always do their best with their art and they average twenty-five likes or less with each post. So, seeing someone get one-hundred likes for doing nothing (yet) really strikes a nerve with me.

I can understand wanting to support someone because they're you're friend, though. And you're not wrong for wanting to do that. But it isn't fair to the people who work hard for those one-hundred likes.

So, what should you do? I'm not suggesting you do anything. But, if I were in your position, and my friend asked for one-hundred likes for doing nothing, I'd tell them to get off their high horse.

It's like they're asking for special treatment for laying around all day.

But yes, I totally agree. I understand where you're coming from. And it makes more sense to me now, so I'm not as angry anymore. But I still don't think people should be going around asking for one-hundred likes. However, I respect your decision to support your friends.

So, let's be clear about one thing, and we'll leave it at that: You're not doing anything wrong by asking for one-hundred likes. You're just being annoying by doing so. Kinda like how people aren't doing anything wrong by laughing at funeral, but it's still very annoying and disrespecful to do so.

My behavior was inappropriate and I should have been more understanding of your situation. I know it stinks to try so hard and only get a few likes for your art. So, of course you would make a post asking for more likes. It doesn't make it right, but...it makes sense.

I don't want your forgiveness. I just wanted to apologize. But, most of all, I just hope that what I said didn't hurt you. Because how I insulted you is far worse than asking for likes on a post.

You're not annoying. You're not entitled. You're not greedy. So, please don't ever think that you are.

I was trying to be kind and let others have a chance at getting their art shown in my style if I got a reward for it. So I did a like goal in order to do requests for a whole year since it is a long time :).
