I'd appreciate a shading tutorial for anime characters. I have a hard time with that and this cloud tutorial was amazing!!!!!!

Aphelps

04 Oct, 2012, 12:57 am

Shading is simply a tough subject. Lighting in general is so complicated, it is hard to just explain in a tutorial. I have been trying to put together what I can think of for a tutorial though. I still have issues with shading myself, and just wing it most of the time. xD Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

I don't reallt draw realistic stuff, but when I use my tablet and do BGs and stuff on my computer, I actually use a similar technique! I was practicing on here using your tips and stuff and it really helped, thanks~ :3 :D

You know Aphelps, everytime you draw an example like the stormy clouds with sunrays, it's a master piece in itself. Wish I could draw like you.
