Merge? You mean like... adding the contents of one layer to an other? Because you can do that.

I thought you could merge layers... well it depends on your definition of merge now doesnt it...

You can merge layers. Drag one of the layer boxes directly below another box. It will merge in the direction you do it in, so try moving right to left first. Cool drawing.

Thanks for the comments, I tried the drag and drop technique but it only copied the layer.

Thats weird, I merge layers all the time. You go to the 3D/layers tab. When you hold a layer a garbage can will appear under it. Drag the layer to the layer you want to merge it with and the "merge" icon will appear instead of a garbage can. Drop the layer on the merge icon and there you go. Merged. Hope that helps.
