@Calypsos_Song Hello ! Yes, I do follow the Lord ! I respect that you are wanting not to b a lukewarm believer and that you are wanting to seek His Word. Its very important to acknowledge this and to make a change. I know being a Christian can be quite difficult especially in our world today because of the desires of our flesh and because of sin. With the help from our Lord, Jesus, He can help us turn away from our sinful nature and help us to repent. He gifts us the power of the Holy Spirit to help guide us and purify our hearts so we no longer would be lost in sin. As a Christian, you cannot be of God and also be of the world. God and sin cannot collide together. So as a Christian, you can't stay in the middle.

Here are some verses that covers abt being Lukewarm.

Revelation 3:15-16 KJV
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

1 John 2:15-16 NIV
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.

John 17:14-16 NIV
I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. (This scripture came from Jesus when He was praying to the Father in the garden of Gethsemane.)

John 14:14-17 NIV
"And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you." (This is when Jesus tells to keep his commandments and promises that he'll gift us the Holy Spirit)

Come to Him as you are and pray to Him. Open up your heart to Him and share any issues you are struggling w/ or things you would like to get off your chest. Even things that

that you are thankful and happy abt. Share everything, He loves you sm unconditionally more than you can ever imagine. He wants to speak and listen to you. And He wants to help you. Me and you definitely are not perfect by all means...we are human and we are going to mess up. But Jesus is perfect and He lived His life on earth to spread the word and truth to the world and He sacrificed His life so we can b saved. He gives us the Holy Spirit to help guide us. Ask in His name to be forgiven from your sins and He will forgive you. Thank God and His amazing grace, we are saved from sin and are gifted w/ eternal life. Ask Him in the power of Jesus name to help you to resist/rebuke the devil and he will flee from you.

Obey God's Word and read the Bible to help spiritually feed you. Reading small devotionals have helped me too. I have a Bible app and they have daily lessons on there w/ scriptures that covers a lot of diff topics. Ty for reaching out to me, I hope I was able to help. You helped me a lot i'll talk to my parents about this to tysm for talking to me this was very sweet of you and inspiring maybe we can do like a colors bible study sometimes :)
