OKAY! Who's ready for a Story?
So way back in middle school (I'm old) I had a group of (angsty) friends, we don't hang out anymore.
We decided to try to be edgy and cool and made a group for ourselves.
There was BlackMedusa, GrayDeath, and me BloodDragon.
So why BloodDragon?
Well because I'm practically nocturnal and to keep in theme with our super edgy group we got Vampire plus Dragon (cuz I LOVE dragons)
And BAM! BloodDragon.
You can still see the vampire elements in my design too.

So why is it my username?
Well when I started here I went by FlyingmintAmeribunny (I was REALLY OBSESSED with Hetalia at the time. Plz don't look back at my cringe... You're gonna do it anyway huh?)
I kept that name for like a week (lol) cuz I got frustrated with my inability to draw humans, and I wanted to be like the artists I admired on this platform who made their own really cool art and characters.
So, I changed my username to DragonLover because... well I LOVE dragons. But, I went through a real angsty teenage phase and made lots of vent art and angry rants about my unpopular status here (Fun time right?)
After that I wanted a fresh start (keep in mind this ALL happened in a span of 2 MONTHS!) and decided to use the name BloodDragon as it was something that was mine.
I kept it through my freshman year (first year of highschool) and before starting my sophomore year (second year) I updated my design to its modern look (Its only been minorly updated in recent years)

PART 2!
Then about halfway through my sophomore year I wanted to change my username. I was pretty embarrassed that it came from my middle school self, but at that point BloodDragon became pretty established in the Colors community. Now I wasn't a super popular or well known artist (I'm still not Haha) but I had a few followers who I was kinda close with and people would even include me in site wide events and give gifts to me (I miss those days, but it makes me happy to see them still happen :D)
But, most of all I loved how BloodDragon grew and changed like I did. I was proud (still am) of how far I've come and how I truly made this character my own (I'm still embarrassed about the middle school part XP)
And so it has stayed and probably forever will.
I am BloodDragon.
Thanks for reading if you did, sorry it was so long ^^; But, I've been meaning to tell this story I like it a lot :)

Oh my god this is great X'D Glad I popped by Colors to see this. Sometimes we can be embarrassed about those "edgy" things we did when we were younger, but ultimately the experiences shape us and help us connect with others. I personally love your username still!
