Yes, in fact I had one.

Not quite as stretchy and cartoony as our Squiggles but almost everytime she moved, she wiggled and wobbled, her tail squiggled the most!

Alas, she ran away a few years ago, 2020, but I swore I heard her voice in April of this year.

Her name is Luna! :3

Pipsqueak Squiggles is inspired by the previously mentioned IRL cat Luna, but also black cats in anime I've watched, like the one from Trigun. Other influences include Bee and Puppycat, Spongebob SquarePants and Animaniacs.

I got the idea to make Unearthly Creatures from watching the 80s-inspired horror series Stranger Things, thinking: "How cool would it be if there was a horror work inspired by 1990's-2000's cartoons?"

Bunnebula and Tarantulori is my take on "Wizarding and Witchcraft" stories with a slice-of-life twist, I'm also going for a Moomins vibe.

I'm also reworking "SuperNormal" because I felt it might feel too much like "Steven Universe" with a kid and three superheroines but it's inspired by the 1998 PPG in terms of humor and camp, currently thinking it could take a few cues from "Star vs" (the good seasons).

Also while I do find the live-action Disney remakes to be oversaturated, I liked the 2015 Cinderella! I have high hopes for 2023 Little Mermaid (Wishing good luck to Halle Bailey) because I loved the OG from 1989!
