@Owl_In_The_Sky I work on a piece for as long as I feel I need to. 3 hours or 300. Once it feels complete to me then I move on to something else.

@Marlee9910 Its based on a character concept I did for class. A scientist & his wife accidentally turn themselves into monsters while trying to find a cure for their sick son.

@RabZy The LittleNightmares games were an inspiration actually :)

@MaeBells Thanks! Theres still more work to do but im confident Ill finish it sometime this month(hopefully).

It kinda reminds me a little of Akira.
I like how it has a great amount of detail and has its own style, almost like a storybook illustration.

@madwurmz Hey thanks! Also oops :p. I started this one around the time when Colors Live playback issues were at their worst (I think before select & move was added or around that time) so unforunately the playback is stuck this way. I'm trying to finish this up so I can move on to other wips/projects without this piece on at the back of my mind.

By the time I finish this maybe I will hit the switch playback limit and if so... could I get an exlusive badge? :p jk

My actual longest painting in Colors( and maybe the biggest record ever set in Colors?) is this pixel art one I made in Colors!3D years ago here https://www.colorslive.com/details/3548324 .

It's 270 hours of blood, sweat, and pixels!

I am genuinely terrified and intrigued, lol. Looks great, though!

It's cool that you work on paintings until you're satisfied, but...doesn't that ever make you frustrated? It doesn't sound healthy.

I'm just concerned about your wellbeing, is all.

Also, you'll learn a lot quicker if you try drawing many different things than sticking to one painting all the time.

But... Oh well. I shouldn't be giving advice to someone who might not need/want it.

@Uncle_Henry68 Beautiful, yes. Lumpy, yes! Little? Not so much. The are actually huge! Probably around the size of multiple large vehicles stacked together? I'm still working on this and there will likely be some humanoids near them to give a better idea of how big they are.

@Mewsea Thanks! Oh and don't worry. I take breaks to work on other things. I actually have some storyboards I'm working on along with other wips though nothing worth showing quite yet. Part of the reason I've been taking so long on this actually is because of that.

@Artyeevee I'm not quite sure myself but the Colors Live playback limit on switch far exceeds the playback limit in Colors!3D on 3DS by such a huge amount reaching it is pretty unrealistic.

@rats_does_art My methods are via colors email, discord( which I honestly prefer since I can personalize my message more and I find people more reliably respond through dms than email), and I'll also post a message on one your artworks/latest artwork though I personally prefer not to since I want the weekly artist announcement to be secret until I update the news.

@Foxgurl Nope! I'm pretty chill and during my Colors!3D days was mostly a lurker haha. Also moderation only use bans as a last resort and for how long depends on the behavior.
