can someone explain this phenomenon. this is /gen. im too old or too autistic to get it.
why do people say 'dont interact if you do x' and then do the same thing unironically. do they not realize theyre doing it? or do they think its... girlboss or something? (thats a term, i think)
i see this in a lot of places, like twitter and tiktok, but it even happens here. why??

im not sure, i think maybe they just dont realize it?? or maybe its the kinda thing where theyre not comfortable with A Stranger doing that, but its not so bad when they or a friend do it....???? :'D i have no clue otherwise /gen, ig maybe it would vary from a case-by-case basis depending what The Thing They're Doing Would Be
