I think the darkest part of the sphere and the shadow have values that are too close together, making it look like it's melting onto the surface.
Other than that, it's pretty good.

I noticed it too, I just got a bit bored, was kinda lost, and couldn't figure out how to fix it, even after tweaking it. XP

Maybe you could put a little light on the lower right area to make its shape a bit clearer.
