I thought it was better than most other recent sequels. I wouldn't suggest watching it without watching Enchanted first. It does give a summary of the first movie at the beginning tho.

the inconsistency im thinking of is a difference in years
disenchanted is supposed to take place fifteen years after enchanted but morgan said she was six in the the first movie yet still goes to high school in the second one
