just so y'all know, this is STILL (to this day) one of my FAVORITE PIECES I've made (I drew it on the original 3DS -- the one with the EXTREMELY tiny screen !!) and I think it came out looking pretty good, given my skill/limitations at the time ^^ thanks for all the comments regardless !!! <3
