I am so sorry for dropping off the face of the earth for a bit there. I've been having motivation issues/problems coloring, so drawing has been hard. Other than that, I'm fine!

No need to apologize! It's not like you get paid to draw, right? :3
If you struggle with coloring, I would recommend you paint in black and white first, and then slowly move to color. That way, you get a feel for how value works. But, uh, it looks like you're doing that here already. :O Though, I can't tell if it was done by choice or because you thought it was easier.
It'll come naturally if you keep at it, though!
If you still struggle, I would recommend using references, obviously.
