Just realized I've been posting my paintings to private for the past month... Ugh.
No matter. I need some input into these proportions, for a race of hyper intelligent birdfolk. the tiny torso is a little off-putting...
when I can finalize the proportions, I'll update with a new worksheet.

Hmm.. I see what you mean, the tiny torso is a bit odd, but for me I think what makes the tiny torso so off putting is imagining how the joints work. They are so close together it gives me the feeling that they're rubbing against each other.
The long arms throw me off personally but that's just because I imagine them dragging on the ground when at rest.
But, odd isn't a bad thing it helps to contribute to an alien looking design because of how unusual it is.
They look really neat too :)

@BloodDragon thanks for the input! I totally see what you mean there. the little torso almost makes it look like a muppet. I'll do some skeletal studies to try and fugger out a better layout. the arms are intentionally long, I meant for them to almost ****** the ground. in other drawings it works, but I'm not liking it here.
