When all is dark, when your life is falling apart, trust Jesus,to light it up, and if you truly believe in your heart that he will, he will light up the darkness.----And when I found out about the weekly challenge "a guiding light" this came to my mind so of coarse I have to draw this #light #cross #wc482 oh and by the way they said tag it #wc481, and that was for the previous contest, #faith #dark #Christian #religious
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

(Late reply.)
In all honesty, regarding the -A Guiding Light- weekly challenge, that was the one I suggested to the Colors team, and was privileged to choose winner for. I only made an entry specifically because it was a topic I was wanting to do for a long time now, and. I knew I couldn't vote for my own. Furthermore, I don't know if anyone noticed, but I hid a reference in the title of my entry. The title comes from a Hymn called -Brightly beams our Father's mercy- using the chorus line "Let the lower lights be burning, send a gleam across the waves. Some poor fainting struggling seaman, you may rescue, you may save". I tend to be more subtle with these things. There were a few good entries that I would have loved to choose as the winner, this one included, but I wanted to be considerate of all entries on equal ground.
That being said, I'd love to see you win the weekly challenge one of these days. To that end, I'd be happy to share some advice if you'll accept it. I've thought about making and sharing a tutorial on lights sources and glow effects, which seems relevant to this. With thst, it may seem logical to use white afterglow with a white light source. However, if instead you use a royal blue or gold-ish yellow afterglow, you'll make a more realistic glare effect. Furthermore, with the slightly darker inner-cross in this, you could use a light sky blue, or soft yellow to make it glow, or give it a pearlescent apeal. Ori and the Will of the Wisps is one of my most favorite games specifically because it is a fun source to study light, saturation, contrast, and complimentary colors. One could take a screenshot of any scene from that game, and make a beautiful painting out of it.

why does everyone (espically Christians) have to force religion?
