The first concept art of my long-term project, 'Guardians of the Multiverse, depicting Emerl, sporting a Capsule Corp. patented 'Drive Arm', which replaces the one he lost in his fight with Cream while he was going berserk.

It was an accident on Cream's part, but yeah that last hit knocked him back to his senses and Capsule Corp. replaced it with one made from parts of one of Tails' scrapped mechs.

The battle itself is loosely adapted from their fight in Sonic X where Emerl was destroyed. Unlike that fight however, Cream briefly awakened to a new power, and the impact of her last kick knocked Emerl's arm clean off and sent him plummeting into the ocean, but regained his senses and resurfaced, dazed and unsure why he was missing an arm.

I actually had to trace Emerl's head twice to get it just right, and the 'Drive Arm' is based on the Power Arm he received in Sega Scourge's 'What if Emerl survived' series.

As for Cream's brief awakening, it was to her form original to 'Guardians of the Multiverse': Burning Cream. I'll draw it later and post it by this evening.
