Whirling strike looked behind her, seeing her hometown before sighing. "It's time for me to move on. To really see what I'm capable of." She looked forward, ready to start the next chapter of her life.
Gemstone opened her eyes and looked around, seeing white walls. 'Where... am I?' she thought. The door opened and in walked a stalion wearing a coat. "Ah! I'm glad to see you're awake, I'm Dr. Mend and-" Gem didn't pay attention to the doctor and looked down at her body. (continued in comments)

To her horror, she saw that her legs were made from the legs of other ponies. Looking around, she saw a mirror and upon looking at her reflection, she felt a pit in her stomach. She had two different colored ears and a horn that didn't belong to her. With tears in her eyes, she only had one thought. 'I'm a freak.' Gem felt like her life was over, but little did she know, she would soon meet two different ponies who would help her adjust to her new look and help her feel loved.

@NyxStarbright Don't worry, Gemstone has a much happier life now. She even gets a new look in the future. (Though I have to draw it)
