Neo and her team were sent to investigate an abandoned industrial site, where they crossed paths with Lowell, the cursed hitman.
Lowell took advantage of an oversight to kidnap Eric as a hostage and put the team between a rock and a hard place. (Ohno)

Lowell was in search of Neo's cursed watch, but he wounded Eric so badly that he bled to death.
At this, Neo's grief over the loss of his beloved Eric, activated her powers and brought him back to life, but she fell back into a coma because of the power unleashed on her body.
Jack and Katt thought they had lost both of them, and the group was totally lost, but suddenly, Eric woke up!!!
He had completely healed, and free of pain and wounds.
Eric, who had been by Neo's side when she first woke up, believes he can wake her up now too, so he has asked Jack to take him to her hospital room to bring her back to consciousness.
