Hmm 3D ground, Well Always add shading if and objects are on the ground (Or people). And adding little bits of grass (In a light color). hope this is helpfull beautiful picture!

One good tip to start with is having it be darker and more saturated close to the foreground, and lighter in the background.

.. That's a tough one honestly. It help sometimes to have little things in the foreground (made bigger from perspective) that seem to come in from the bottom or sides. Think flowers bending in from the bottom corners, or tree branches from the tops.
