[3d effects ON]
As part of getting the hang of the controls and brushes of colors 3d, I painted my output of tulip lesson from Art Academy Lessons for Everyone this time. Moreover, I have upcoming watercolor & alcohol markers to play with. So I wanted mostly to practice LIGHT TO DARK shading —recommended for those art materials— as I'm used to the opposite. I plan to practice more of the lessons from Art Academy before tackling fanarts I have in mind...

Ah, I remember the Art Academy tulip well. You've done it proud! I struggled with it; I had a better time with the cherry though.

@Fats_the_Dummy Thank you for the kind words :
Yes, the cherry is friendlier to paint while I struggled with the tulip too when I was just starting art academy! My very first try took me around a week before I was satisfied where I used the blue color for the tulip's shadow to make more contrast. I did it again after some time on art academy, only following the colors used by vince-sensei, for far less time than my first.
