It happens, you try to focus on too many things at once but, fail at all of them.

One thing that motivates me is looking forward to seeing people's reactions to the finished product. Having friends makes all the difference.
In my case, this mostly boils down to showing my drawings to my IRL friends, and sharing it here because it's convenient because I can. Sometimes taking requests helps me make new friends here.
