This is a really cute idea! I think one of the biggest issues with it is how the Luvdisc don't blend in well with the background. They just look like they're floating in the foreground, y'know? I think I would blend it in more with the sky and ocean - give it more of a blue shading, and make the shading cover more of its body, if that makes sense. I would also give Bounsweet a more dramatic lighting, darker on the right and lighter on the left, to try to inhance those colors.
