Under the Starry Sky by Puzzled
Based on Van Gogh's "The Starry Night" for the classic redraw contest.
Tried for a less stylized version while keeping major elements and altering the town to fit more towards Ecruteak City. Oh, and swapping the large, dark tree for a pagoda!

In hindsight, I forgot that there actually isn't many poke-towns with asian influenced architecture, but I didn't think this one would be too memorable either (or if I drew it well enough). I love Ecruteak city! It's my favorite location of any Pokemon region. :3
Very lovely color scheme here! This is definitely a lot more smooth-looking that the original Starry Night. Beautiful!

@Mewsea: Same! For a while I wanted to draw Ecruteak City! I'm actually kinda sad I focused more on the "Starry Sky" aspect rather than the city but I think this looks nice ^u^
