I try not to care about him, ShOtZ, but he's so nice and sweet and attractive... Yeah, I know, so thank you! And, as for drawing, I like to draw each body part on its own layer and merge it later. Why? You can trim one part without accidentally cuttin another and it makes shading easier. I always draw heads first by doing a big blob in the color I want for the skin. It doesn't have to be shaped exactly right and I tend to leave some excess because I use a small eraser to make the edges more defined. For me, eyes are just Big circles with some white triangles. Again, I use the skin color to trim down the eyes a little. Just like the head, the hair starts out as a rough blob using abig brush and then I add details with the smallest size brush. I have to look at the head and to the shape to get it looking normal (not too narrow). Only after I'm satisfied do I add shading. Maybe using the playback feature will help. And the background looks distant and out of focus because I used a large soft brush This is a good approach to backgrounds because it keeps the focus on the foreground. Does that help?

I had a girl that I really likes throughout elementary school. I loved to play with her more then the other few friends I had. It was 6th grade and she wanted me to race to the corner of the school outside in the playground, she said if I beat her I would get to kiss her I won and lost. So we had a russian exchange student come to my school last year and I fell in love instantly. He was so sweet and cool. I was gonna ask him out but before I could, he told me he was gay and asked me if a boy he liked was gay. Sadly he wasn't, but still. Through the whole thing I supported him and I still think of him as my best friend! (He still lives in America because he purposely missed his flight. He did it because its not safe for him in Russia, being gay and all. If you have heard that Russia has cancelled their exchange student prigram because of a runaway exchange student, thats him. Oop.) But my point is, yeah, it hurts to see someone you love fall out of your reach but in the end, things can still work out ^u^
