i got bullied for three years but the 3rd year which was last school semester is the year i realized that my friends were bullying me. im going into highschool as a freshman now and the ex-friends who bullied me and had crossed the line and had turned everyone against me just for liking anime, cosplay, and even music artists because they thought that was weird, are now going to the same highschool im going too. im just absolutely not ready to get bullied again. i was scared to go to school. :(

hey hey its high school- if they haven't matured thats shame on them! youre perfect just the way you are. As a senior in HS i can atest that there will be people who you can connect with and become close to who will love you the way you are! i hope you never have to deal with that stuff again! <3 ik you dont know me but if you ever need a fellow weeb to talk to im here!

I hope you find people who like you for you. Always be yourself! Just ignore the people that tried to turn others against you. You don't need people like that in your life anyway. You will find your people eventually.. first time I felt genuinely accepted was university so.. Hopefully you'll find good friends eventually. In the meantime, do not apologise for who you are and what you like. If anyone has a problem with it, it's their problem.

Similar to @mcollins I found college to be a much better experienc than high school. High school is a difficult time for many. And part of getting through it is to realize that it is its own strange forced environment, which doesn't correspond to life once you leave. When you look back many parts of your high school experience will seem distant and unimportant in retrospect. If you know that going in you can have a different perspective. In other settings in life you can more easily distance yourself from those hwo wish to build themselves up by putting you down. But in highschool, it can be hard to avoid that dynamic. Those who handle it best are often those who realize that people who come across as jerks to others are often dealing with their own pain, and their terrible behavior is often masking their own insecurities. So they have compassion even on those people, and try to show care for everyone. These manage to transcend the groups and division and are on good terms with nearly everybody.
